It's been before christmas, when we went to Stratford with my host family to see Shakespeare's Birthplace of course, but also to walk around the town. I absolutely adored his house (on the pictures above and below) and I found it really interesting to be on the roots of Britain's most famous writer. I also loved

Here we go! Some more results from my college photography course, just as promised. I finally discovered the secret of multiple exposures, which has been on my list for quite a long time. I used Photoshop CC in college and Elements at home and these four pictures are my favourites. I spent a lot of time with photoshop and my sketchbooks, especially during the last two weeks. I tried to relate the themes to myself, like the explosion showing the chaos, which is going on in my head sometimes or the forest and the city to show my love for both: Being out in the nature as well as being in a busy place.

I can't believe, that christmas went by already! I've been waiting for it so long, delightfully counting the days, knitting socks in the evenings and singing christmas songs until my host sister would hit me. The festive season is one of the best times every year and I spent it different this time: It was my first english christmas.

I think I promised earlier that I would publish some of the results from my photography course. It is a college AS-Level course with the project 'The world around me', focused on a self-chosen interest. I chose Portraits and Travel, since people are a big part of my environment of course and so are different landscapes and cities in England, especially because of the exchange. This creative work is a part from my portrait project and the photos have been mainly edited with Photoshop.

I couldn't wait to go to London again and I was so excited, when we finally went there on tuesday in half term. There were two main destinations on our plan: The Royal Opera House and the Natural History Museum. When we came to London, we used the tube to go to Covent Garden, from where we've been leaded and from where it's only a 3 Minute walk to the stage entrance of the ROH, where we entered. We've seen the enormous backstage area with the huge sets of e.g. Romeo and Juliet and watched an opera rehearsal for a few minutes. After that we've been

... is the 2nd largest city in England and quite easy for me to reach. This is why my host sister and I have been there 3 times in 4 weeks. The first day was awfully rainy and went into the Bull Ring for shopping. The second time was a meeting with our exchange group and the third time was a relaxed walk through the city with a cup of lemon-ginger tea at the end.
After three weeks of school I am not bored yet, but I changed from Drama to History, because I am an awful actress, despite that I am very interested in stages, backstage and theatre in general.
I have had a cold since Tuesday and this is one of the reasons, why I spent most of my time at home during the last two days. Of course, school demands time too, but I've got an almost full weekend and I am looking foreward to it!

I've had a look at my calendar and it's true! I have been here for 3 weeks, the time is running so fast. Well, what happened during the last time? Probably the most important thing is, that the College started and I have to say, that the school is amazing! It is very large and offers a lot of opportunities. It's very different, compared to my german school and the german school system, because College in England means, that you only have 3 subjects to study. I decided to do Drama+Theatre, Maths and Photography. I am very happy with my subjects and hope that this continues.
We've been in a very cute town 2 weeks ago. The weather was very good, fortunately not the clichee of british weather. By the way, during the last weeks the weather here in England was

Thursday, 27th August 2015.
I get up at 4:30 a.m., my plane leaves at 10:55 a.m. It's my first flight alone: from Frankfurt to London Heathrow. Fortunately everything goes well and we arrive at the accommodation in London at 2 p.m. We have a sightseeing tour in London by night, unfortunately mainly in the bus.
We attend 'preparing courses' on Friday until 12 o'clock and we have a city-sightseeing-shopping tour in the afternoon. We see the main sights like London Eye, Westminster Palace, Picadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square and have about 3 hours of freetime. We passed the Royal Ballet School on our way to the pizza restaurant, where we eat dinner.
Saturday is our last day in London and we have more 'preparing courses' and time to ask questions about our exchange program, the school, host families and so on. At 12 p.m. the bus leaves, heading to our host families..
